ArtiKen is a brand that brings to its customer's handcrafted experiences from the Maasai Tribe of Kenya. With products ranging from bracelets to earrings and apparel, it’s the alternate brand that brings a whole lot of color and spirit to your wardrobe.
ArtiKen also provides full-time jobs to local artisans and funds clean water projects throughout the country.
The moment Christopher Hough, the founder of ArtiKen, reached out to us for designing brand collateral, we knew that we were in for something exciting. His energy clearly resonates with the products, and the brand in its entirety.
The brief was to bring to life the heart of Kenyan spirit to a one-of-a-kind brochure and packaging that takes the customers to the game fields of Kenya for a few glorious minutes.
We dug deep to craft elements that represented Kenya in all of her glory. The colors used in the brochure were drawn out from the tri-coloured flag.
Hand drawn illustrations were used as the package design elements to represent the handcrafted nature of the products. The colors were picked out from the African wild.
